    Nonprofit-Concepts is a New York-based Human Resources consulting firm, servicing small and mid-sized nonprofit entities, that do not have a dedicated HR team onsite. Our methodology stands out, due to its comprehensive approach: by tailoring the recruiting efforts to the company's unique strengths and challenges, it also incorporates the workforce planning and management aspect, which ultimately, increases the added value delivered to the client.

We also believe in a consistent onboarding process for your new employees, followed by a 30 and 90-day review of both the employee's performance and overall level of satisfaction.

    Founder

    Paula holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from her native country, Romania, as well as Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She currently holds a pro-bono HR Consultant position within the National Executive Service Corps, a New York-based advisory group that has been assisting local nonprofit entities in achieving a more streamlined approach of operating, for the past 35 years.

    Paula is a seasoned Human Resource professional, with a unique blend of private and public sector experience.

    She started her career within the recruiting firm of Watson Dwyer in Chicago, where she serviced a wide range of clients and industries, including Fortune 500 companies, law firms, financial institutions, as well as nonprofit, local entities. Paula also had the chance to work within one of Illinois' largest public sector companies, Chicago Transit Authority, where she focused on recruiting, workforce management and employee motivation. Prior to relocating to New York, Paula was spearheading the Chicago-based office HR functions for Agentrics, a consulting company headquartered in Brazil, with locations in over 34 countries; while at Agentrics, she focused on the executive search, as well as the training and employee motivation aspects.
